Koonstra Dairy Farm
VinkenbuurtIn the greenhouse barn at Koonstra Dairy Farm, the cows roam freely on wood chips. Through the composting process of these, the other rooms are heated.
An automatic feeding system supplies the cows with feed. A very modern and animal-friendly farm, which we would like to tell you about during a tour. You are welcome to come and take a look while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of cake.
In the outbuildings are paintings of the farmer's wife. These are portraits and landscapes, in acrylic or pastel. Cows and nature are a great source of inspiration. The farmer's wife gives sketching and painting workshops in the stables and has her own studio which is located in the house.
