The method combines precision, relaxation and focus and works using specific tools, such as the black strip, felt mat, wooden bow and headstand bench. These tools help release tension patterns in the body and activate deeper muscle groups, with the goal of bringing movement and breathing space back into the body.

Unlike dynamic yoga styles, CAY focuses on relaxing the postural muscles (such as the shoulders, neck and back) and activating the deeper movement muscles. This creates a better balance between body and mind, and you learn to move from gentleness rather than strength or habit.

What's it good for? Critical Alignment Yoga can provide support for:

  • back, neck and shoulder pain
  • stress and burn-out
  • posture problems
  • breathing problems
  • Improving focus and body awareness In addition, the method contributes to more inner peace, better posture and a sense of connection between body and mind. Many participants experience more space, energy and clarity in their daily lives over time.

For whom is it suitable? The classes are suitable for everyone - with or without yoga experience. Especially if you have complaints or hold a lot of tension, this gentle but deeply working approach can mean a lot to you. CAY is also a valuable addition for people who sit a lot, do physical work or recover from stress.
