Swimmathon - 80 lane swim in freedom

Open Air Pool Olde Vechte organizes a swimmathon in the opening week of the swimming season to celebrate that we can swim in freedom. Everyone (ages 5-99) can participate as individuals or in groups/families/families/teams.

Openluchtbad Olde Vechte challenges all families, families, groups of friends, sports teams and swimming enthusiasts to participate in the swimmathon. We celebrate our freedom by swimming in freedom in our beautiful pool on the river Vecht. Sign up with your family, family, group of friends, sports team or on an individual basis. When participating as a group you swim together 80 lanes in a reserved lane in a time block of one hour. If you swim individually you may divide the 80 lanes over several visits to the pool.
Participation in the swimmathon is free of charge. You will receive access to the pool, coffee/tea/limonade and a tasty reward from the warm bakery from Ommen upon achieving the challenge. Check out the Open Air Bath's site for more information about signing up and to reserve a lane in the pool.
Friends groups/families/families/sports teams can reserve a lane in the pool on May 2/3/4/5 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm and swim together.
