Irene van der Aart is a cabaret performer from Amsterdam who is dating a farmer from the Achterhoek. Last theater season we enjoyed the show De Boer op and now Irene comes with her new show Aanmodderen.

There are those who say, "Life is a party, you just have to hang the garlands yourself. These are those people who have everything in order and seemingly live life to their liking. They can always find clean socks sorted by color in the morning because they are so nice and practical. And when the going gets tough, they say, "It had to be this way. Irene just muddles along. Her most common words are: 'My glass is not half full, it is not half empty, nothing has ever been in it.'
