On Saturday, May 23, skating and cycling association the Doorloper presented its brand new jersey on the bridge in Ommen. With the support of regional sponsors, the association is once again assured of high-quality sportswear for years to come.
On Saturday, May 23, skating and cycling association the Doorloper presented its brand new jersey on the bridge in Ommen. With the support of regional sponsors, the association is once again assured of high-quality sportswear for years to come.
"Alfa-accountants merged in 2025 and with that a long relationship as main sponsor came to an end" says board member Hendrik Bouwmeester. "But thanks to a good number of entrepreneurs we were able to get the club clothing for the next few years round again and we are extremely happy with that."
A committee within the club together with the regional sportswear brand Lorini has come up with a very nice new clothing line. The familiar purple of Alfa accountants makes way for the fresh green of the new main sponsor Arjan van der Veen - gardens. Various other companies have also been given an appropriate place on the shirt or pants.
Good clothing is important, agrees secretary Richard Olijve: "Besides functionality and comfort, it is also an important calling card for our club. It ensures recognition, appeal and bonding. The more than 50 active bicycle members and 10 active skaters were very enthusiastic about the new 'look' and even new members have already signed up. Hopefully more will follow as soon as we hit the road in the new outfit".
