Historic bicycle route through Ommen

In about an hour and a half and about 5 kilometers Peter takes you along special places in and around Ommen that many locals and visitors probably don't know yet. From Het Laar you dive into the story of Baron van Pallandt and the rich past of Ommen.

Along the way you cycle past historical places such as the Levi bank, Laerhoeve, Edithuis and Edithof, the old Kerkepad, Nering Bögel garden, Olde Vechte and the Hessel Mulert bridge. Stories about the Stone Well and the Battle of Ane also pass by.

During the route Peter tells in a fun and accessible way about the origin of these places, special inhabitants and forgotten stories from Ommen. A relaxed tour full of history, surprising details and beautiful places you might normally pass by.
