The successful Curling Cup, a curling competition in which more than 18 teams of companies from the region participated, raised more than 4,000 euros for the "Fight for Youth" foundation. The event that took place on Jan. 23 contributed in part to the success of the new indoor skating rink at Camping De Kleine Wolf.

"To have fun together and at the same time mean something for the region: that's what we want to achieve with this skating rink. The Curling Cup shows exactly what we stand for at De Kleine Wolf: bringing people together and at the same time mean something for the region. That we were able to raise more than 4,000 euros for the Foundation 'Fight for Youth' with this event makes us incredibly proud," said Peter Kamphuis of De Kleine Wolf.

The Curling Cup took place at the new indoor skating rink of Camping De Kleine Wolf, which opened in December as part of the winter offerings. With this initiative, the campsite wants to contribute to the social importance of sports, exercise and meeting, with special attention to children. Therefore, De Kleine Wolf makes the skating rink available free of charge to schools in the area, so that students who normally have less easy access to winter sports activities can also skate.

Extended due to success

The indoor skating rink was originally scheduled to be open until Jan. 25. Due to great interest and positive reactions, it was decided to keep the rink open for over a month longer. Visitors can therefore enjoy skating and curling at the indoor skating rink until March 1.
