On Saturday, September 13, Ommen will open its doors during the national Open Monument Day. This year visitors can not only enjoy the special monuments, bike rides and walks, but also show their own creative eye by participating in a photo contest.
On Saturday, September 13, Ommen will open its doors during the national Open Monument Day. This year visitors can not only enjoy the special monuments, bike rides and walks, but also show their own creative eye by participating in a photo contest.

Participants are invited to take a photo on the day that best captures the atmosphere of Open Monumentendag in Ommen. Think of beautiful details of monuments, special activities or the unique interplay of history and experience. It is important that it is clearly visible that the photo was taken during Open Monumentendag in Ommen.
Entries can be submitted until Saturday, September 20.The photos submitted will compete for a nice prize and will also receive attention through the (social) media. With the photo contest, the organization wants to encourage visitors to take a fresh look at the monuments of Ommen and capture the beauty of its heritage.↵ The contest is open until Saturday, September 20.
