The vacations are over, but exploring is possible all year long in your own library. Library Salland kicks off the new season for young and old with activities and courses to learn and meet together. Because the library is a place where you can do much more than just read and borrow books. It is a meeting place where curiosity is stimulated. Whether you want to learn something new, improve yourself or just enjoy an inspiring experience: in the library you will find plenty of opportunities.

Whether you want to learn something new, improve yourself or just enjoy an inspiring experience: in the library you will find plenty of opportunities.
For youth
During weekly reading hours, little ones (ages 0 to 4) are read to from the best children's books. Meet other parents, let your children play and go home with a good story. Because children love to be read to and you can't introduce them to reading and books early enough!
Children ages 4 to 12 can join us on Expedition! Expedition - every Wednesday afternoon in a different branch - lets children discover different digital skills in a playful way. They are introduced to media, robots, gaming and digital stories.
Keep discovering
With various courses, workshops, consultation hours and activities, Salland Library helps you get ahead! For example, do you have a question about the computer, the Internet or an app? Then drop by the Digital Café (DC). If you have questions about DigiD, benefits, and other digital government issues, the Digital Government Information Point (IDO) is the place to be. Come to the walk-in hours and get explanations so you can continue on your own. In all our branches as well as in Heeten, Nieuw Heeten and Mariënheem.

In the run-up to the elections, the Salland Library is organizing various activities to ensure that you are well informed when you go to the polls.
Become a volunteer
Library Salland is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers! Whether you enjoy helping visitors in one of the branches, prefer to read aloud during the reading hour or help learn the Dutch language as a language coach, the possibilities are endless!
