The 18 art points are spread throughout Ommen, Arriën, Witharen, Varsen and Balkbrug - perfect to combine with a nice bike ride through the Vechtdal. Some locations are studios where you can see artists live at work, others are idyllic gardens or special buildings that you normally only admire from the outside. Everywhere you taste the mix of nature, culture and craftsmanship.↵.

From paintings and drawings to leather bags, glassware, ceramics, hats, textiles, recycled art and unique sculptures; each stop has its own atmosphere and story. And of course, the artists themselves are ready to take you into their world.

Festive kickoff on August 15

Can't wait? Then you can attend the festive opening of the retrospective exhibition at Molen de Konijnenbelt as early as Friday, August 15, at 3:30 p.m. Alderman Alice van den Nieuwboer will officially open the art weekend, and you will immediately get a taste of what is to come.

Also special is the solo exhibition of Ingeborg van Breugel, who shows her 25 years of colorful and black-and-white imagery. The retrospective exhibition in mill de Konijnenbelt can be visited after the opening from Friday to Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and on August 23 and 24 from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m..
