Led by professional musician Dennis Brandwacht, you will follow an energetic, interactive workshop that focuses on rhythm and cooperation.
The workshops are suitable for young and old and can be given at a fixed location in Ommen as well as on location of your choice.
Led by professional musician Dennis Brandwacht, you will follow an energetic, interactive workshop that focuses on rhythm and cooperation. The workshops are suitable for young and old and can be given at a fixed location in Ommen as well as on location of your choice.
Drumming Workshop
During this unique workshop you will form one drum kit together with the other participants. Everyone gets a different part to play -such as a bass drum, snare drum, hihat or toms- and together a rhythmic whole is created. After a brief explanation, you'll get right to work playing rhythms, question-and-answer exercises and playing along with music. No experience necessary, just enthusiasm!
Workshop Djembé
Looking for more rhythm and an international atmosphere? Then African percussion is a must! In the djembé workshop you learn the basic techniques and play together rhythms on djembés. Participants work together on question and answer exercises and conclude by playing music. An accessible and inspiring experience for groups of up to 50 people.
Practical information
- Duration: approx. 80-90 minutes (customizable)
- Cost: €257 per workshop (up to 10 people), thereafter €12.50 per additional participant
- Location: In Ommen or on location of your choice (within Ommen no travel costs)
- Language: Dutch or English
- Availability: Daily, based on agenda
