Every year there is a changing exhibition in which various themes have already been depicted with tin figures. Also unique is the complete display of the Golden Carriage which, by pressing a button, moves in a carousel from the Noordeinde Palace to the Ridderzaal.
Fine painters of our time
The National Tin Figures Museum has a world-renowned collection of classic tin figures. The collection has been expanded with a large number of works by contemporary fine painters. The modern tin figures are especially notable for the vastly increased technical ability of the model makers and painters. Formerly tin figures were mainly toys manufactured on the assembly line, nowadays they are often made by artists who try to surpass each other in perfection!
