Eighteen hospitable farmers in beautiful Vechtdal Overijssel are opening their farms to the public. They all do this in their own way. This makes each farm unique and fun to visit and sometimes stay overnight. Every single one of these fun, fascinating and educational activities in Vechtdal Overijssel at the Farmer's. So come and play outside, frolic in the straw, feed cows, cuddle piglets, groom horses, paint clogs or watch a calf being born. Guided tours, watch and talk about cows and calves, play farm golf or help feed or care for the animals. A day on the farm is a day to remember. Great for a vacation getaway, a children's party, camping or for a family weekend.

Farmers Picnic and other Kids Bike Routes

Farmers in the Vechtdal have even developed bike routes especially for kids where you can buy produce along the route and do tasks for a picnic in the meadow or in a farmyard. There are children's routes of around 20 km and even family routes of about 28 km. The routes have appropriate names like Boerenpicknickroute, Boer & Vechtroute and Bergboerenroute. The routes can be cycled at any time, but only on Fridays and Saturdays are all farms open. If you want to picnic you should always make an appointment.
